The Wet Electrostatic Precipitator is employed as a final polishing device in an air pollution control system to remove sub-micron particles, tars, condensable, and acid mist when an upstream dry ESP, fabric filter, or wet scrubber cannot collect the sub-micron particulates due to their tiny size.
Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (Wet ESP) technology from Pinakin Technology Solution is gaining popularity due to its ability to capture sub-micron particulate with condensed acid mist in contrast to other dry separation technologies like Bag Filter & Dry ESP. This is due to the growing demand, globally, for reduction of respirable particulate and aerosols from various industrial processes.
Wet electrostatic precipitator suppliers, manufacturers, and exporters from India include Pinakin Technology Solution. We provide the most affordable pricing on most advanced wet type electrostatic precipitators across the world.
A filtration device called an Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) uses the force of an induced electrostatic charge to remove tiny particles from moving gases like dust and smoke while very slightly obstructing the flow. An ESP is particularly efficient at using energy because, unlike wet scrubbers, it only applies energy to the particulate matter being collected. This is in contrast to wet scrubbers, which apply energy directly to the flowing fluid medium.
In Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, we are Manufacturers, Suppliers, and Exporters of Electrostatic Precipitators. Contaminated air is sucked into the Electrostatic Precipitator. Before entering the precipitator, it goes through a mechanical filter that captures bigger particles. After passing through an ioniser, the air is exposed to a strong electrostatic field. All of the smoke and oil mist particles are electrically charged. The collecting cell for these charged particles has metal plates with the opposite electric charge. The oil mist and smoke particles are drawn to and captured by the grounded plates. An after filter enhances airflow through the collecting cell and traps any clumped items that would blow off the cell. A distinguishing characteristic is a particular high voltage power pack known as ESP.
Users of running Bio-mass Fired Boilers with Wet Scrubbers have the option of upgrading to WESP in order to more effectively control the emission of fine particles and acid mist.
Installation is simple due to the modular design's flexibility and ability to integrate into existing wet scrubbers. For the boilers being modified for use with multiple fuels, WESP has shown to be a more practical and cost-effective method of reducing air pollution.
Our Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) are designed to produce 0% opacity and over 99.9% removal efficiency on particles down to 0.01 micron in size (0.5 mg/Nm3) with 0.5 w.c. pressure drop. They come in both horizontal and vertical arrangements. For the management of acid fumes and metal oxides from boilers using Petcoke and other hazardous fuels, we also offer special condensing type Wet ESPs.
